(57)【要約】 【課題】製品の態様や温度変化に関係なく常に水切り性 能を高精度かつ最適に制御し、巻きずれを十分に防止で きる圧延機を提供する。 【解決手段】少なくとも上・下一対の作業ロール2a, 2bと、圧延材1の表面のクーラントを除去するクーラ ント除去装置4とを備えた圧延機において、圧延材1の 板幅方向の板端位置の振れを映像信号(検出信号)とし て出力するテレビカメラ15と、この映像信号に基づき 圧延材1の板幅方向の板端位置の振れ幅を減少するよう にクーラント除去装置4の水切り性能を変化させる押し 付け力制御装置14とを有する。
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling mill capable of sufficiently preventing a roll displacement, constantly and optimally controlling a draining performance with high accuracy regardless of an embodiment of a product or a change of a temperature. SOLUTION: In the rolling mill comprising at least a pair of the upper and lower operation rolls 2a, 2b and a coolant remover 4 that removes a coolant on the surface of a rolling material 1, there are mounted a TV camera 15 that outputs a displacing position of a plate edge in the plate width direction of the rolling material 1 as an image signal (detecting signal) and a pressure- force control unit 14 that so varies the draining performance of the coolant remover 4 based on the image signal as to reduce a width displacement of the plate edge in the plate width direction of the rolling material 1.
