Culture soil

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture soil having solved such a problem involved in common culture soil on the market for vegetables that proper mechanical transplantation can not be carried out when the root ball of a seedling is broken during mechanically transplanting the seedlings raised through a process of putting culture soil in each raising seedling pot on a raising seedling tray made by sequentially arranging a lot of raising seedling pots, although it has been the mainstream that the common culture soil for vegetables is produced so as to prevent the culture soil from being hardened during raising seedlings by making it light through using a large amount of peat moss vermiculite or the like in order to make the roots of the seedlings easy to grow. SOLUTION: This culture soil is obtained by mixing a raw soil with Shirasu, drying the thus obtained mixture followed by crushing the dried mixture, sorting out smaller pieces than the predetermined size from the crushed mixture using a sieve, and thereafter mixing the thus sorted dried resultant with a clayey material.
